About Our Team
The University of Oregon Climbing Team is a community of like-minded individuals looking for adventure in the world of climbing, whether that be at competitions, the crag, or the local gym. Climbers with all levels of experience make up our team, working alongside each other to improve their climbing abilities and expand their understanding of the sport. We are a self-lead team, promoting personal leadership, dedication, empathy, and fun times. We’re always eager to meet new friends so don’t hesitate to reach out to us! Sco Ducks!

Anna Koebel
Hey hey! My name is Anna, I’m a 3rd year student studying Product Design. I’ve lived all over Oregon and been climbing for more than a decade.
Fun fact: I was voted most likely to be a secret agent in high school.

Vice President
Jacob Roth
Hey I’m Jacob, born and raised in Portland OR. Majoring in Planning, Public Policy and Management. Currently in a 6 year committed relationship with climbing.
Fun Fact: Diagnosed with no fall mentality.

Treasurer
Nola Parnes
Hi I am Nola! I am a second year studying psychology. I am from Seattle, WA and have been climbing since I was 10.
Fun Fact: My name means New Orleans, Louisiana

Champe Scoble
Hey I’m Champe and I’m a junior at UO. I’m from California but have lived the past 8 years in Eugene so it feels like home.
Fun fact: I’m obsessed with nice chefs knives right now.

Gavin Tycer
Hi I’m Gavin and I come from Houston TX. I’m a geography major and I love being outside.
Fun fact: the crazy creek is the most useful camping accessory.
